One wrong cell wipes everything banked in Tower

Tower strips the crash bet down to a grid of question marks. Ten rows of five cells, and each pick risks everything banked so far: the notes record a balance of 999990.22 unchanged after a padlock hit, the accumulated 8.67 simply gone. Presentation matches behavior. The board reveals all five cells of a row the moment one is clicked, so the trap positions are shown rather than hidden, and on Classic risk that is one lock against four diamonds per row. Four risk modes swap both the multiplier ladder and the safe-cell ratio, from Classic's x1.18 start to a High-risk ceiling the 20000 USD win cap makes unreachable. No autoplay, no provably-fair panel, no reels. InOut Games offers only a climbing curve and a CASHOUT button that prints what can still be kept.

Tower Review: Every Pick Stakes the Running Total

What every further pick actually stakes

In one captured Classic-risk round, the balance read 999 990.22 immediately before the sixth pick and 999 990.22 immediately after it; the padlock cell erased a bankable 8.67 that five safe picks had built. That measurement is the whole game in miniature. Tower, released by InOut Games on 2021-09-24, deals a 10-row board of 5 cells per row: pick one cell, survive, and the accumulated amount rides on the next row. A CASHOUT button prints the exact bankable sum after every cleared row, so a bet of 3 at hit 1 shows 3.54, and stopping is always one click away. Each further pick is a fresh wager of the running total, which places Tower in crash territory rather than among result-reveal instant games. Published RTP stands at 95.00%.

Exact feedback after the decision, near-silence before it

Tower reports outcomes with precision and explains itself barely at all. Every played row reveals all five cells on the same click, so the position of each padlock is visible even in cells never picked; when a round ends, the full 50-cell board opens with the taken path shaded lighter. The audit is exact, but it always arrives after the decision it describes. Before the decision, the build discloses little: no RTP figure appears anywhere in the UI or in the rules popup, a full-text search of the page finds no occurrence of the word 'fair' and no seed or hash tool, and there is no bet history, no autoplay, no stated per-row odds for any mode, and not even a studio footer. One gear icon opens the entire help surface: four steps, three limits, a sound toggle. The player can verify what a round did, never how it was decided.

A paytable ceiling the cash cap will not pay

The High-risk ladder prints hit 10 at x9277343.75, the largest number in the game. The rules popup prints a second, smaller truth: Max win 20000 USD, a flat per-round ceiling. At the maximum bet of 200 USD only multipliers up to x100 pay in full, so High risk truncates from hit 3 (x118.75, a nominal 23 750 USD) and Medium from hit 6 (x231.93, a nominal 46 386 USD), while the entire Classic ladder, topping out at x8.84, never reaches the cap at any legal stake. At the minimum bet of 0.12 USD the ceiling equals x166666.67, which puts High-risk rungs from hit 8 upward beyond reach. The tallest rungs on the screen are therefore decorative at every bet size, and nothing on the ladder flags where the cap begins to bite, since that point shifts with both stake and mode. The limits are at least printed; the paytable never admits which of its numbers are unreachable.

Playing smart: bankroll and volatility

Every deliberate choice in Tower happens between two events the player cannot control: the placement of padlocks and the resolution of each row. What the evidence supports is control over three things only: which risk ladder the round runs on, how large a stake sits under it, and at which row the accumulated amount is banked.

  1. Choosing the risk mode

The Risk dropdown is set before the bet and swaps the entire multiplier ladder plus trap density. Classic rows hold 4 diamonds to 1 lock, Medium 2 to 3, each directly observed. The Low and High per-row splits were never captured, so choosing those modes means accepting undocumented survival odds, not merely steeper multipliers.

  2. Sizing the bet against the cap

Stake is adjustable from 0.12 to 200 USD and interacts with the flat 20 000 USD max-win cap. At 200 USD the cap truncates Medium payouts from hit 6 and High from hit 3; Classic never reaches it at any stake. A larger bet therefore shortens the usable ladder in Medium and High without adding reachable rungs.

  3. Deciding when to cash out

After each safe row the CASHOUT button offers the accumulated amount; picking again risks the whole total on the next row, and a lock forfeits it entirely, confirmed by an identical balance before and after a lost pick. Nothing about prior rows changes the next row's odds, and no evidence shows the outcome is predictable.

How to place a bet

Tower by InOut Games is a crash-style pick-and-climb game on a board of 10 rows with 5 cells each. Every pick either reveals a diamond and raises the bankable win, or a lock that forfeits the whole round. The loop: pick a cell, then cash out or risk everything on the next row.

Set bet and riskEnter a stake between 0.12 and 200 USD in the bet field, or adjust it with the /2, x2, +5%, +10%, +25% and All buttons. Open the Risk dropdown and pick Classic, Low, Medium or High; each mode swaps the full hit 1 to hit 10 multiplier ladder and the trap density.
Place the betPress the green BET button to start the round. The balance drops by the stake and the top row of the board becomes playable while the middle ladder shows the active mode's multipliers, hit 1 outlined in blue.
Pick a cell per rowClick one of the 5 cells in the active row. All five cells reveal at once: a green diamond means safe and the row's multiplier is added to the running win; a white lock ends the round, reveals the entire board, and forfeits everything accumulated.
Cash out or climbAfter each safe row the BET button becomes an amber CASHOUT button showing the bankable amount. Press it to collect and end the round, or pick again on the next row to chase a higher hit rung. Clearing hit 10 pays the top rung of the active ladder, capped at 20000 USD.

Game modes

Medium risk idle board with hidden tiles and ladder from hit 1 x2.37 to hit 10 x9059.9, balance 1 000 000.00

Tower's Risk dropdown holds four modes, and every selection swaps out the entire hit 1 to hit 10 multiplier ladder instead of re-skinning it. Medium is the default on load. Higher risk means fewer safe cells per row and a steeper climb toward the 20 000 USD max-win cap.

  • Classic risk

Selecting Classic deals four diamonds against one padlock into every row and sets the gentlest ladder, x1.18 at hit 1 rising to x8.84 at hit 10. The top rung stays below the 20 000 USD max-win cap at any stake up to 200 USD, so every cash-out on this mode is paid in full.

  • Low risk

Low sits one step above Classic: the ladder opens at x1.58 for hit 1 and closes at x157.11 for hit 10. No board was captured with this mode active, so the safe-to-padlock split behind each pick is undocumented; only the multiplier table is.

  • Medium risk

Medium is the state Tower loads in, the selector pre-set before any bet. Each row holds two diamonds against three padlocks, a 40% chance of surviving a pick, and the ladder runs from x2.37 at hit 1 to x9059.9 at hit 10; at the 200 USD maximum bet the 20 000 USD cap truncates the payout from hit 6 upward.

  • High risk

High posts the steepest table, x4.75 at hit 1 climbing to a printed x9 277 343.75 at hit 10, a rung the 20 000 USD cap makes unreachable at any stake; at the 200 USD maximum the cap already binds at hit 3. The per-row trap split for this mode was not captured.

Studio behind the game

InOut Games

Chicken Road is InOut Games' signature line, but crash mechanics dominate its output: over half the studio's catalogue in this mirror falls into that category, alongside instant-win titles, a smaller run of video slots and a handful of table games. Titles are HTML5-based, localised into more than fifteen languages and built for multiple currencies, which suits distribution through aggregation partners such as Hub88, Slotegrator and Infingame. The site and games are operated by IOGr B.V. under an Anjouan B2B licence, supplying platform and back-end services to licensed operators. Recent releases keep iterating on the crash format with layered features like level progression, variable volatility and cash-out mechanics rather than departing from it.

Our take

ProsFour risk modes swap both the multiplier ladder and the safe/trap split, so one game spans a gentle 4:1 Classic climb to a brutal High-risk ladder.
ProsEvery round genuinely risks the running total: a wrong cell forfeits the entire accumulated win, and the CASHOUT button shows the exact bankable amount at each step.
Where it falls shortThe 20000 USD max-win cap truncates most of the Medium and High ladders, and there is no provably fair panel, bet history or autoplay anywhere in the build.

Tower suits crash players who want a manual, step-by-step risk ladder with visible per-row odds and four genuinely different risk profiles. The 95.00 RTP is modest, and the 20000 USD cap means the tallest printed rungs are decoration rather than reachable payouts. Pick Classic for steady climbing, High only with a small bet and an early cash-out plan.

Got questions? We have answers

How many safe cells are there per row in each risk mode?

Classic risk places four safe cells and one trap in each row, giving an 80% chance of surviving any single pick. Medium risk drops that to two safe cells against three traps, so 40% survive per row. The safe/trap split for Low and High risk is not stated anywhere in this build's rules panel or shown on any captured board, so it remains unestablished.

What happens when I hit a padlock after building up a win?

A round ends as a loss the moment you open a padlock cell, and the entire accumulated amount is forfeited. In one recorded Classic round, 8.67 was bankable after five picks, the sixth pick hit a lock, and the balance read the same before and after the round (999990.22), proving nothing was returned. Cash out at any completed row to keep the running total.
