The four Difficulty levels are not different games bolted together but a single trade-off drawn four ways: Easy gives 30 lanes with shallow gains, Medium 25, Hard 22, Hardcore 18, each narrowing the runway as the multipliers steepen. Research verified the payout rule directly: bet 3, cash at 1.06x, the win screen prints 3.18. The variation changes the pace of the decision, never the decision itself.

Beyond the first five lanes of each ladder, values run off the captured viewport, and the bottom bar shows a 'Chance of being shot down' label with no percentage beside it, at any level.
